Edward Skipper, age 77, of Lumberton, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

He was born September 9, 1941 in Horry County, SC.

A Visitation will be held Sunday July 7, 2019 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory Inc. 809 E. 5 ^th St. Lumberton, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Greer Skipper and Fannie Maybell Marlowe Skipper; two brothers, and five sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Richard Clemson Skipper of Grand Bay, AL and Michael Glenn Skipper and wife Lynette of Semmes, AL; two daughters, Jessica Lee Ransom and husband Travis of Lumberton, and Kelly Skipper Tew of Chadbourn, NC; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
