Edward Patrick Jones, Jr., age 72, of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017. He was born December 21, 1944 in Harnett County to the late Edward Patrick Jones, Sr. and the late Ida Leigh Johnson Jones. He was a member of the St. Alban's Masonic Lodge and was very active in the leadership of Klahican Lodge 331 of the Cape Fear Council, Boy Scouts of America.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty Ann Raynor Jones.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Patrick Jones of Tallahassee, FL and his sister, Shirley Jones McBride of Castle Wood, VA.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ed Wilcox officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565, or to Camp Bowers Boy Scouts' Camp, 13165 NC Hwy 53 West, White Oak, NC 28399.
