Mrs. Edna Jones Allen Rozier, 88, formerly of Lumberton, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in Stafford, VA. She was born in Bladen County on April 15, 1925 to the late Nathan Henry Allen and the late Victoria Singletary Allen. She was a homemaker. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rozier, and her son, Larry Rozier; three brothers, Haywood Allen, Biven Allen, and J.W. Allen; five sisters, Pauline Allen, Elberta Allen, Otelia Allen King, Catherine DeVane, and Beatrice Allen; and by her former husband, Douglas Taylor, who was killed in action during WWII. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Hardwick and husband, Steve, of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jackie Misyak and husband, Michael, of Stafford, VA; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
