Mrs. Edith Sanderson Dial, age 71, of Fairmont passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

She was born February 7, 1950 in Robeson to the late Dewey Sanderson and Delilah Brewer Sanderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Prentice Houston Dial; three brothers, Gilbert, Theodore and Kenny Sanderson; two sisters, Sue Locklear and Brenda Hunt.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey Dial of the home; a daughter, Tela Dial Moore and husband Ervin of Fairmont; three sisters, Dorothy Lewis, Mary Ruth Spaulding and Sandra Webb all of Fairmont; two brothers, Jimmy Sanderson and wife Dorothy and Renwick Sanderson and wife Lorinda all of Fairmont; two grandchildren, Tyshila and Preston Dial, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Graveside service will be held Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 11am at New Bethel Holiness Methodist Church Cemetery.
