Edison Britt, Jr., age 63, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 18, 1951 to the late Edison Britt, Sr., and Eula Mae Lee Britt. He was a self-employed farmer. Along with his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Britt. Mr. Britt is survived by his wife, Kathy W. Britt of the home; his mother, Eula Mae Lee Britt of Lumberton; a daughter, Kristie B. Andrews and husband, Benji Andrews of Lumberton; a brother, Gary Britt of Lumberton; sisters, Linda Arrington and Susie Batten both of Lumberton; and two grandchildren, Lucas Andrews and Molly Andrews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Elim Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. James Graham and Pastor George Connor officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service at the Mt. Elim Church.
