Eddie Lynn Johnson, Jr. age 55, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville, NC.

Mr. Johnson was born November 16, 1970 in Robeson County. He was a farmer and served in the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Johnson and an infant sister.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Johnson of the home; one son, Zac Johnson of Fairmont, N.C.; his mother, Nancy Johnson of Fairmont, NC; a sister, Jenny Blackard (Sonnie) of Lake View, SC: a step-son, Colby Graham of Marion, SC; a step-daughter, Brittany Walker (Win) of Florence, SC; seven grandchildren; his father and mother in-law, Tommy and Shirley Hayes of Marion, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 2:00PM at White Pond Baptist Church Cemetery, 1169 White Pond Road, Fairmont.
