Mr. Earl Chaptman Weston, age 82, of Ocean Isle Beach, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015, at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. He was born on March 16, 1933 in Pipestone, MN to the late Frank E. Weston and the late Leafy Weaver Weston. He served honorably and retired from the US Army as a paratrooper.

He was also preceded in death by the mother of his son, Betty A. White Weston, and two brothers: Alan Weston and Lorean Weston.

Earl is survived by his present wife, Lucille R. Allen Weston of the home; his son, Earl C. "Chip" Weston II and wife Lisa of Dover, DE; three brothers: Norman Weston of Twin Cities, MN, Leonard Weston of Lithia, FL, and Arthur Weston of White Bear, MN; one sister, Doris Kuncle of Madelia, MN; and five grandchildren: Carrie, Earl C. III, Edward, Augustin, and Domitila Weston.

A time of visitation will take place on Sunday, January 3, 2015, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2015, at 3:00 PM at Rising Family Cemetery in Elizabethtown with Rev. Cecil Ivey officiating.
