Earl Roy Nealy's Obituary
Earl Roy Nealy, age 79, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, under the care of Hospice. He was born December 28, 1938 in Robeson County to the late Lonnie & Pearl Meares Nealy. He was formerly employed as a deputy with Robeson County Sheriff's Department.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers: Kelly Nealy and Ronald Nealy, and a sister-in law, Geraldine Nealy.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lynda T. Nealy of the home; two sons: Terry Nealy of Roxboro and Rodney Nealy of Raeford; five grandchildren: Amy Nealy, Chris Nealy, Brittney N. Coleman, Courtney Nealy, and Chad Nealy; nine great-grandchildren: Taylor Lawson, Brayden Lamb, Makalya Bostick, Jaxon Coleman, Izabella and Abigail Bellamy, Shaylynn Nealy, Cayden Nealy, and Raine Nealy; two great-great-grandchildren: Kensley Chavis and Keenan Locklear; two sisters: Jewel Reaves and Sue Nealy Britt; and a sister-in-law: Janice Nealy.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, September 29, 2018, from 5:30-7:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc.
Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. LeRoy Burke officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southeastern Hospice House, 1100 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, NC 28358, or to Zion Hill Baptist Church, 12883 NC Hwy 41 N, Lumberton, NC 28358.
