Earl Harden, Jr. 63 of Lumberton, NC passed away on February 26, 2026 at UNC Health Southeastern.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Harden, Sr. and Melba Rowland; one nephew, Paul Harden; and one sister-in-law, Penny Harden.

Earl is survived by his brothers, Richard Dwayne Harden of Hamlet, NC and Jeff Harden of Tampa, FL; aunts, Mae Holder of Sanford, NC and Pat Wiloughby of Marion, NC; uncles, Gene (Pat) Strickland of White Oak, NC, Robert (Jo Ann) Strickland, Jimmy (Carolyn) Strickland both of Lumberton, NC and Johnny Strickland of Fayetteville, NC; and host of cousins and special friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, NC. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
