Earl Caulder, age 89, of Fairmont, NC passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County, NC on May 9, 1925 to the late Gordon and Sallie Smith Caulder. He was a farmer. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Josie Lee Caulder and a grandson, Randy Neil Caulder. Mr. Caulder is survived by his sons, Jimmy Caulder and wife, Brenda, Vernon Caulder and wife, Phyllis, Clinton Caulder and wife, Jean, and Allan Caulder and wife, Sharon all of Lumberton; daughters, Judy Floyd and husband, Jimmy of Fairmont, and Joyce Britt and husband, Floyd of Lumberton; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Edna Benton of Lumberton. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bobby Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
