Douglas Williford McCormick, age 72, of Lumberton passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.

Mr. McCormick was born February 23, 1953 in Robeson County to the late Dallas McCormick and the late Virginia Barnes McCormick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Douglas W. McCormick, Jr., and Christopher McCormick; two brothers, Ronnie Neal McCormick and Billy Wayne McCormick.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sandra Lowry McCormick of the home; two sons, Timothy McCormick of North Dakotah and Randy Ray Scott, Jr. of Lumberton; one daughter, Shelly Jones (Mario) of Lumberton; two sisters, Ann Haynes of Roseboro and Linda Page (Bob) of Fairmont; four grandchildren, Katelynn Bass, Jason Bass, Mythes Bass and Maliyah Jones; one great grandchild, Kayden Bass, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 2:00-3:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. The funeral will immediately follow in the chapel at 3:00PM.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial cemetery across from the funeral home.
