Mr. Douglas Locklear, age 81, of Rowland passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 3:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont.

Burial will Follow in Ashpole United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday August 9, 2017 one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

He was born October 7, 1935 in Robeson County to the late Willie Locklear and Omie Hunt Locklear.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Bryan Locklear; four brothers, Willie Jr., Bobby. Levon, and Julius Locklear; two sisters, Mae Wes Hunt and Clearcie Powers.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Kat) Locklear of the home; two sons, James Franklin Jr. Locklear (Amy) of Lumberton and Stoney Ray Locklear of Charlotte; two sisters, Lou Helen Bell and Mary Lois Richardson (Charles) all of Rowland; three grandchildren, Alonia and Jamie Lowery and Kelsey Locklear; numerous special nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members; a special caregiver, Cynthia Jacobs.
