Mr. Douglas David Lloyd, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. He was born in High Point, NC on July 2, 1954. He was previously worked as a Physician's Assistant at Lumberton Children's Clinic. He is survived by his wife, Irma C. Lloyd of the home; one son, Christopher Lloyd of Nakina, NC; two daughters, Jennifer Lloyd Nealy and husband, Robert, of Tabor City, NC and Jessica McPherson and husband, Austin, of Whiteville, NC; four step-sons, Jose Miguel, Christian, Miguelangel, and Juan; his parents, Darrell and Dottie Lloyd of Lenoir, NC; one brother, Kenneth Lloyd and wife, Cynthia, of Austin, TX; two sisters, Mary Coffey and husband, Clifton, of Hudson, NC and Rebecca Bursch and husband, Christopher, of Chattanooga, TN; eight grandsons and two granddaughters. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton. A time of visitation will follow the service until 2:30PM.
