Mrs. Dorothy D. Pittman, age 100, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 12, 1921 to the late Annie Davis.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Davis; her husband, Albert Pittman; three children: Faye Allen, Patricia "Trish" Mayers, and Roy Pittman; a daughter-in-law, Debby Pittman; and three sons-in-law: Mickey Connor, Larry Tyner, and Paul Nastally.

She is survived by one son, James A. "Jimmy" Pittman of White House, TN; 6 daughters: Margie Smith and husband Wayne of Oak Island, NC, Deborah Connor of Proctorville, NC, Sharon Edwards and husband Glenn of Fayetteville, NC, and Betty Tyner, Shelby Wilcox, and Susan Pittman and husband Gene, all of Lumberton, NC; and 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren plus one on the way, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Singletary Baptist Church, 4061 Singletary Church Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Josh West and Rev. Rodney Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
