Dorothy (Dot) Lee Miller, age 72, of Lumberton, NC passed away at Southeastern Regional Medical Center on July 2, 2010. Mrs. Miller was born December 26, 1937 in Durham, NC. She worked in textiles for years. She loved to do art and crafts. She also loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had an exciting life to be able to marry her high school sweetheart and they had over twenty years together.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dora Stone Haywood of Lumberton, NC; brother, Jack Davis of Statesville, NC and one granddaughter, Lisa Ann Munn and one great-granddaughter, Liberty May Speights.

Dot is survived by her loving husband, Thomas R. Miller; four daughters, Francine Munn and husband Randy of Candler, NC, Lorraine (Cookie) Thompson and husband Twinnion of Lumberton, NC, Melissa Serrano and husband Phil of Prosperity, SC and Audrey Lewis and husband Mike of Lumberton, NC; two step-daughters, Cindy Rooks and husband Art of Lumberton, NC and Cheryl Stone and husband Randy of St. Pauls, NC; two brothers, Joseph Nash (Ed) Davis and Charles Ray Davis both of Lumberton, NC; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton with Rev. David G. Anderson officiating.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at 1501 Townsend Street in Lumberton.
