Mrs. Dorothy Taylor Inman, age 88, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016, at her home. She was born in Bladen County on February 1, 1927 to Anderson & Sally Barfield Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Preston Taylor; 5 sisters: Sophronia Edwards, Suzie Jackson, Eunice Huckabee, Myrtle Royal, & Ala Mae Taylor; 1 daughter-in-law, Sylvia Inman; and 2 sons-in-law: Charles Howell and Lee Coleman.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 70 years, J.D. Inman; her children: Myra Howell, Marsha Nelson (Joseph), Gwen Mishue (Robert), Gary Inman, Sidney Inman, & Beth Coleman; 1 sister, Sadie Little; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews.

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Ten Mile Baptist Church.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. David McLellan and Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiating. Burial will follow at Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery.
