Mrs. Dorothy Jolly Canady, 94, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on November 28, 1927 to the late James O. Jolly and the late Nettie Byrd Jolly.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Canady, and three brothers: Warren Ray Jolly, James Jolly, and Lewis Jolly.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Rose Hardy; three grandchildren: Angie Taylor (Terry), Johna Evers (Rodney), and Jamie Hardy (Melissa); seven great-grandchildren: Corey Taylor (Kasey), Maegan Arokiasamy (Sebastian), Brock Evers (Michelle), Jada Jackson (Wally), Miranda Hardy, Kellan Hardy, and Rebecca Hardy; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Rodney Evers officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
