Doris Carroll Sellers, age 79, of Lumberton, died on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Woodhaven Nursing Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County on March 9, 1939 to the late Arthur Carroll and the late Myrtle Jackson Carroll. She was the Office Manager for Belk Department Store.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jimmy Carroll, two sons: James Sellers and Kenneth Sellers; a grandson, Sterling Britt; and a son-in-law, Danny Britt.

Mrs. Doris C. Sellers is survived by her husband, Jimmy Sellers of the home; a sister, Lois Carroll Allen; three daughters: Jimmie Kaye Britt, Jennifer Sellers, and Sherry Sellers Floyd and husband Giles; a daughter–in-law, Venus Sellers Campbell and husband Kenneth; seven  grandchildren: Bradley Warren and wife Lindsey, Hannah Nicholson and husband Tyler, Tyler Sellers, Jaden Sellers, Katie Floyd, Ben Floyd, and Ashley Vincent and husband Mason; and four great-grandchildren: Brentley Warren, Bristol Warren, Cooper Nicholson, and Mason Vincent.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.

Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. LeRoy Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith in Lumberton.
