Doris Faye McArthur, age 77, of Fairmont, NC was born to the late Woodrow Walters and the late Lena Harrelson Walters on March 20, 1945. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She graduated from Rowland High School in 1964. On November 24,1965 she married the love of her life Mr. Larry Oliver McArthur. To this union was born one daughter: Donna, and one son: Woody.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Larry Oliver McArthur of the home; one daughter, Donna Faye Caulder; one son, Woody Oliver McArthur (Sandra) both of Rowland, NC; one sister: Ann Lawson of Rowland, NC; seven grandchildren: Josh (Jennifer) Thompson, Chris Bridgeman, Jerrica (Robbie) Caulder-Hunt, Robert Caulder, Gracie Caulder, Jolena McArthur, and Joseph McArthur; five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends that she loved very much.

A time of visitation will be held Friday, December 23, 2022 from 1:00-2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services 1549 Marion Stage Rd. Fairmont, NC. Funeral services will immediately follow in the chapel at 2:00PM.

Burial will follow in the McArthur Family Cemetery Hwy. 130 Fairmont, NC.
