Doris Moody Lee from Fairmont, NC, age 87, died on Friday, August 28, 2009 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Dillon, SC to Pierce Arthur Moody and Erma Phillips Moody on October 9, 1921. Mrs. Moody was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. Brian Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Lee. Surviving Mrs. Lee are her son, William R. Lee, Sr. and wife Lydia of Fairmont, NC; a daughter, Sandra Willoughby and husband, Marshall of Fairmont, NC; a sister, Dora Kate Moody of Florence, SC; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
