Mrs. Doris Cook Faulk, 93, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at Wesley Pines Retirement Community in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Gaston County, NC on January 27, 1929 to the late Wilson Cook and the late Margaret "Maggie" Johnson Cook.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Burnie Faulk; two brothers, Horace Cook and Jim Cook; and a sister, Betty Jo Wells.

She is survived by her children: Burnie Faulk of Sunset Beach, NC, Karen Ingle of Lumberton, NC, Betty Anderson (Dannie) of Orrum, NC, Jerry Faulk (Cheryl) and Ronnie Faulk (Nancy), also all of Lumberton, NC, Mary Floyd (Grayling) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, and Mark Faulk of Lumberton, NC; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Margie Adams and Marcella Love.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 11:00AM-12:00PM at East Lumberton Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM with Rev. Michael Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery.
