Doris Wiggins Berrier, 93, of Red Springs, NC, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 2, 2023. She was born in Robeson County, NC on May 15, 1929 to the late Charles & Ruth Wiggins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, J.L. Wiggins and Arthur E. Wiggins, and a great-granddaughter, Alaina Leighann Keehn.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Phillips (Ray) of Parkton, NC; her grandson, Brian McGugan (Kim) of Laurel Hill, NC; her granddaughter, Kim Keehn (Rich) of New Bern, NC; two great-granddaughters, Ashley McGugan and Haley McGugan; and two great-grandsons, RJ Keehn and Drew Keehn.

Doris was the City Clerk and Treasurer of the Town of Red Springs from June 1981 until her retirement in July 1995. One of Doris's greatest joys was working in her yard, and, other than during inclement weather, that's where you could usually find her.

A private graveside service will be held at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
