Doris Paul Bartley, 90, of Lumberton died on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Wesley Pines Retirement Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 4, 1921 to the late Rev. Elias Asbury Paul and Minnie Davis Paul. She was a school teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Bartley. Mrs. Bartley is survived by twelve nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service.
