Dora Jean Britt, 53, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on November 19, 1968 to the late William & Peggy Britt.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dora Haywood.

She is survived by her daughter, Brandy Lacole Hunt of Lumberton, NC; her granddaughter, Jaden Paige Hunt of Lumberton, NC; her brother, Bill Britt of Lumberton, NC; her niece, Marlanna Britt (Brent), and nephew, Lee Britt (Amy), both of Lumberton, NC; and her great-nephews and great-nieces: Gaige Inman, Addison Inman, Makira Inman, and, one on the way, Emalee Rose Britt.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
