Donnie L. Thompkins, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. He was born in Hamlet on October 18, 1952 and he served honorably in the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Donnie Thompkins.
He is survived by his wife Kristie Thompkins of the home; his mother, Betty Jean Milliken; 10 brothers; and 6 sisters.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
