Mr. Donnie Stanley Sampson, 66, of Lumberton, was born July 11, 1955, and passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy & Mary Sampson, and two brothers, Dennis Sampson and Gregory Sampson.

He is survived by three sisters, Tammy Jacobs (Dalton, Jr.), Wanda Locklear (Larry), and Pocolia Sampson (David); a special great-nephew, Takoda Kinlaw; special friends, Kelly Kinlaw and Ricky Ransom; three nieces, Myra McGee, Lyngail Sampson, and Katie Locklear; three nephews, Dexter Sampson, Daltrey Jacobs, and Larry Locklear, Jr.; great-nieces, Hannah Chavis, Taleigha Hunt, London Lugo, Ava Oxendine, Kayleigh Locklear, and Kenzleigh Locklear; and great-nephews, Kendall Chavis, Roman Lugo, Kenan Locklear, and Ty, Jr.; and a host of relatives and friends.

The visitation will be prior to the service on Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Strickland officiating.
