Ms. Donna Renee Walters Freeman, age 70, of Orrum, NC   passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Hospice of Scotland in Laurinburg, NC.

She was born in Robeson County on July 25, 1956 to the late Colwin Donley Walters and the late Bessie Rouse Walters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lynn Freeman.

She is survived by a daughter, Kellie Freeman of the home; nieces, Renee Collins (Adam), Amanda Freeman Burns (Greyson); nephew, Bryan Freeman (Kellie); two aunts, Ida Scott (Alton), and Elois Surles; sister-in-law, Jackie Freeman, and brother-in-law, Richard Freeman (Vickie) and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 12, 2026 at Bloomingdale Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tommy Fields officiating.

Family will receive friends after the service.
