Donna Sue Branch Holmes, age 59, of Lumberton, NC died on Friday, April 13, 2012 at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on December 2, 1952 to the late Richard Leroy Branch and the late Mattie Mae Tyler Branch. She worked in the layout department for The Robesonian Newspaper.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by four brothers, Jerry Branch, Danny Branch, Elbert Branch and Sonny Branch and a sister, Joyce Branch.

Mrs. Holmes is survived by her husband, Ray Alan Holmes of the home; a daughter, Tammy Sue Davis and husband Edward of Bladenboro; a brother, David Earl Branch of the home; a sister, Florene Bass of Lumberton; three grandchildren, Rodney Norton, Jr., Justin Alan Norton and Phoebe Davis and one great-grandchild, Madison Faith Norton.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Junior Tyler, Rev. Gregg Locklear and Rev. Bruce Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton prior to the service.
