Donald Elliott Oxendine, age 57, passed away on December 10, 2025, at his home in Salisbury, North Carolina. Donald was born to Pamela H. Britt and Donald Bruce Oxendine in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, J.W. and Dorothy Hunt and his paternal grandmother Christine Oxendine.

Donald was a genuine and loyal soul who never met a stranger. He had a natural gift for making people feel welcome, and wherever he went, laughter was sure to follow. There was never a dull moment when Donald was around—his humor was infectious, and his presence brought warmth and joy to those who knew him.

Donald had a deep love for people and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He especially loved animals and fast cars, passions that reflected his caring heart and curious spirit.

Donald was survived by his loving mother, Pamela H. Britt, stepfather Richard Britt, his sister Regina Hogan, daughter, Katelyn Eldred, and a very special cousin, Bobbi Jo Oxendine. He was deeply loved by his uncle, Gregory Hunt and cherished aunts Becky Barnes, Bobbie Ann Oxendine, Teresa Mitchell, and Daphne Wynn, who held a special place in his life.

Donald's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering loyalty will never be forgotten.

A graveside service will be held Monday, December 15, 2025 at 2pm at Piney Grove Baptist Church cemetery, 427 Gaddy Road, Fairmont.
