Dixie Davis Floyd of 382 Bailey Rd. Fairmont age 68 died December 11, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Methodist Church in Fairmont with Revs. Rich Denning and Donnie Davis officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 13, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Born February 6, 1943 in Robeson County to James Davis and Pearline McCormick Davis. Preceded in death by parents James and Pearline Davis and brothers Bobby and John Carl.

She is survived by her husband James Sprunt Floyd of the home, 2 sons Michael Floyd of Ft. Lauderdale FL and Drake Floyd of Doylestown PA, 2 brothers Donnie Davis and wife Barbara of Ellerbe NC and Earl Davis and wife Volene of Grifton NC, 1 sister Virginia Coleman and husband W.J. of Lumberton NC, 2 grandchildren Matthew and Kyle and several nieces and nephews
