Our loving mother and cancer survivor, Diane Agatha LaBoy James, 84, gained her wings on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. She was born in Bronx, NY on December 1, 1937 to the late William and Frieda LaBoy.

Along with her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, John Walter James, and her brother, Ronald LaBoy.

Diane is survived by her sister, Denise Coleman; three daughters: Cecilia James, Joni James-Gaddy, and Diane Pratt; and 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
