Diane Walters Hardin, 77, of High Point, North Carolina, formerly of Lumberton, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at High Point Medical Center, after an extended illness. She was born in Lumberton on December 16, 1948.

Diane was the daughter of the late Leo and Dollie Walters.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Autumn Michelle Collins, her brother Wilton Walters, and sisters, Sybil Sutley, Ida Mae Ivey, and Anna Faye Phillips.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Dollie Michelle Hardin, her grandson Parker Morgan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Diane was raised in a Christian home and loved the Lord very much.  She attended church whenever possible. She enjoyed listening to her nieces and nephews sing and play gospel music. She loved to laugh and be together with family whenever possible. Diane will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at at later date at Belmont Baptist Church in Burlington, NC.
