Dewey Davis, Jr., age 68, of Orrum, NC died on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on August 23, 1947 to the late Dewey and Susan Britt Davis, Sr.  He previously worked maintenance for Cement Pipe.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Emma Townsend Davis of the home; daughters, Sandra Lamm (Matt), and Mary Lee Caulder (Sammy) all of Orrum; sisters, Ruth Britt, and Hazel Britt both of Lumberton; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

The funeral service is on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Mike Longson officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls.
