Dewey Mack Gibson, age 55, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 in Charlotte, NC. He was born in Robeson County on July 7, 1958 to the late Mack Gibson, and Bonnie Mae Hardin Gibson. He was employed as a welder. Along with his father, he also was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Margaret Gibson. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Mae Hardin of Fayetteville; a stepmother, Janice Gibson of Lumberton; three sisters Jhonda Richardson and husband, Lee of Columbia, SC, Rhonda Taylor of Columbia, SC, Bonnie Britt and husband, James Ray of Lumberton; and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. A time of visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Floyd Memory Garden at 2:30 PM with Rev. Johnny Bruce officiating.
