Mrs. Dessie Mae Jacobs, age 77, of Fairmont passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 3:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel.

Burial will follow in McDonald Church of God Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 2:00-3:00pm prior to the services at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Mrs. Jacobs was born October 8, 1939 in Robeson County to the late Rufus Jones and Johnnie Bell Oxendine Jones.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Allen Jacobs; a son, James Allen Jones; two daughters, Juanita Locklear and Samantha Hill; a brother, James Earl Jones.

She is survived by a son, Anthony Jones of the home; a daughter, Stephanie Jacobs of Pembroke; four brothers, Clennie Jones and Felton Jones both of Fairmont and Terry Jones and Perry Jones both of Georgia; three sisters, Loretta Wynn of Lumberton, Bennie Mae Edwards of Newton Grove and Williamteen Tyley of Red Springs; three grandchildren.
