Mr. Dennis James Johnson, age 62, of Lumberton, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019. He was born in Robeson County on February 16, 1957, to James Franklin Johnson and the late Carolyn Timmons Johnson.

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sylina Johnson Mitchell.

Along with his father, he is also survived by his wife, Patti Wooten Johnson of the home; a son, Davey James Johnson and wife Angela of Jacksonville, FL; a daughter, Deanna Chantelle Johnson of Elgin, SC; a stepson, Casie Norton and wife Erica of Clayton, NC; the mother of his children, Cindy Johnson of Elgin, SC; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Julie Johnson Carter of Kenly, NC.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, from 2:30-3:30 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, with Rev. Paul Arnold officiating.
