Ms. Denise Locklear, 51, of St. Pauls, NC, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022. She was born in Robeson County, NC on September 4, 1970 to the late Leroy Locklear and the late Janie Bell Jones.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roosevelt & Grace Oxendine Locklear; her maternal grandparents, Toby & Jessie Bell Jones; and a brother, Gregory Locklear.

She is survived by her stepmother, Amveline Locklear of Selma, NC; her life companion, Dossie "Rick" Colvin, Jr. of the home; her daughter, Sierra Denise Locklear of St. Pauls, NC; her son, Dossie Kendrick Colvin; her stepsons, Christopher Jerell Colvin and Dossie Colvin III, both of St. Pauls, NC; her sisters-in-law: Lillie Colvin, Robin Colvin, and Audrey Colvin, all of St. Pauls, NC; her grandson, Daylen Faison; two brothers, Patrick Locklear and Vernon Locklear, both of Lumberton, NC; her sister, Misty Lynne Holiday (Lamont) of Parkton, NC; two stepbrothers, Bradley Wayne Oxendine of Maryland and Michael Allen Oxendine of New York; an aunt, Wanda Lee Fields; and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Roosevelt Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Robeson Memorial Park, Hwy 211 East in Lumberton, NC.
