Deloris Mary Oxendine, age 66, of 35 Boer Rd. Fairmont passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Rev. Gary Deese and Bishop James Earl Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel . She was born February 22, 1947 in Robeson County. Ms. Oxendine was preceded in death by her father, Ermond Locklear; her grandfather, Archie Oxendine; grandmother, A.J. Oxendine; and a brother, Bobby Oxendine. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Oxendine Chavis of Fairmont; one son, Scottie Ivey of Aiken, SC; three daughters, Denise Garrison and husband Jay of Fairmont, Michele Smith and husband Smitty of Lumberton and Sonja Purcell of Fairmont; one brother, James A. Oxendine of Murrells Inlet, SC; two sisters, Vista Cain of St. Pauls and Janie McFarland of Fairmont; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
