Deborah Lynn Griffin, 69, passed away on December 21, 2023. She was born January 28, 1954 in Columbus County, NC to the late Edison Nance and the late Theodora Obershea.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half-brother, Jimmy Obershea.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Griffin, Jr. ; her sons, Jimmie Griffin and wife, Christina, and Kevin Griffin and longtime companion, Michelle; her half-brothers, Patrick Obershea, and Chris Nance; and her granddaughter, Abigail Griffin.

She loved animals—especially, her horses, dogs, and cats. She loved to paint in her spare time. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife of 51 years.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton, NC, 28358.
