Mrs. Deborah Lee Floyd, 70, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born in Cuba, NY on May 12, 1951.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Nellie & Elroy Brown; her longtime partner, Llewellyn "Louie" Bump; and a grandchild, Jordan Taylor Stoddard.

She is survived by her father, William Gayhart of Buffalo, NY; her children: Sherree Benson (Kevin) of Bladenboro, NC, Kari Stoddard of Lumberton, NC, Jay Stoddard, Jr. of Bladenboro, NC, Stephanie Floyd of Wilmington, NC, Charles L. Floyd III of Lumberton, NC, and Valerie Floyd of Wyoming; 5 grandchildren: Heather Nicholson (Tyler), Kenny Barnes II, Brittany Benson, Kaleigh Benson, and Matthew Oliver; 5 great-grandchildren: Madalin, Caden, Auden, Liam, and Stormi; a brother, William Gayhart of Lumberton, NC; and a sister, Dawn Thomas of Buffalo, NY.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC. Following the service, the family will receive friends and loved ones at the home of Sherree & Kevin Benson, 404 Marshall Cain Road in Bladenboro, NC.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to help offset final expenses would be greatly appreciated.
