Deborah Britt, age 59, of Fairmont, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023. She was born in Lumberton, NC, on August 4, 1964 to the late Oakie Walters and Mae Shaw.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Britt of the home; her son, David Floyd; her sister, Yvonne Christian of Bladenboro; her stepmother, Linda Walters of Bladenboro; her in-laws: Sharon Long (Dan) of Lumberton, Donna Dent (Jay) of Fairmont, and Micky Britt (Angie) of Lumberton; her nieces: Beth, Shauna, Nicole, and Paige; her nephew, Matthew; her grandson, Bradley Floyd; and two fur babies, Trixie and Diesel.

In her spare time, she loved taking trips to the beach and the mountains. She loved spending time with her nieces and grandson. She loved her career in nursing and teaching young nurses in the profession. She loved her fellow co-workers who eventually became family.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC., with Rev. Charles Brust officiating.

Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
