Mrs. Debbie Sue Williamson-Edwards, age 66, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC on February 2, 1956 to the late Tyndall Williamson and to Mildred Scott Williamson.  She was previously employed with Cape Fear Valley Hospital where she worked as a registered nurse.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Michael Edwards.

She is survived by her mother, Mildred Scott Williamson of Evergreen, NC; her son, Jeremy Edwards (Nikki) of Lumberton, NC; a brother, Hank Williamson (Donna) of Evergreen, NC; and a nephew, Hanks Williamson, Jr.

A time of visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 2:00-3:00PM at Macedonia Baptist Church, 100 Macedonia Church Road in Evergreen, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00PM with Pastor Jimmy Caines officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
