Mrs. Debbie Sampson Hunt, age 62, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC. She was born July 23, 1960 in Robeson County to the late Council Sampson and the late Dorothy Freeman Sampson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Felicia Dale Hunt; a sister, Rebecca "Becky" Sampson; and a brother, Paul Sampson.

Debbie leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Branford "Dusty" Hunt of the home; one daughter, Tonya Hunt Williams and husband Montrail of Charlotte, NC; one son, Branford Junior Sampson and wife Lorie of Lumberton, NC; one brother, Samuel Sampson and wife Carolyn of Lumberton, NC; two sisters, Virginia Oxendine and husband Garry of Rowland, NC and Minnie Brooks and husband Billy of Lumberton, NC; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and five step-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Danette Scott of Rowland NC; a special friend, Pervelia and a host of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC.  A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation in the chapel at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 427 Gaddy Road in Fairmont, NC.
