Mrs. Dawn Mathis Hill, age 66, of Fairmont passed away Monday, August 24, 2015. Visitation will be Saturday August 29, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. A private memorial service and burial will follow at a later date. She was preceded in death by her parents John Mathis and Trissie McLellan Mathis; three brothers, Johnny, Terry, Tommy Mathis and one grandson, Matthew Tyler Rogers. She is survived by one son, John Hill (Jessica) of Fairmont; one daughter, Kandi Rogers (Richard) of Lumberton; one brother, James Mathis of Greensboro, NC; and five grandchildren, Parker Rogers, Miranda Hill, Macie Huggins, Jonathan Huggins, and Michael Baty.
