Mr. David Adolph Stewart, 66, of Rockingham, NC passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at First Health in Pinehurst, NC. He was born in Bladen County on February 4, 1957 to the late Nathan Adolph Stewart and the late Barbara Elkins Stewart.

David served four years in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a mechanic for 40+ years. Since 2015, he worked at the Dream Center in Hamlet, NC. David was also a member of Outreach for Jesus Church where he helped with the sound system and other church responsibilities.

He is survived by his daughter, Natalie S. Stewart of Orrum, NC; his sisters, Vickie Stewart Britt of Orrum, NC and Tammy S. Stevens of Little River, SC; one grandchild, Coty Rylan Ivey; several nieces, their spouses and children, and his very special friends in Christ, Bro. Marvin Taylor, Jimmy Smith, Marvin Taylor III, Mrs. Lou, and Danny Joyner.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Outreach for Jesus Church, 440 Battley Dairy Road in Hamlet, NC.
