Mr. David Ransom, age 53, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Thursday June 21, 2018 at 2:00PM at Northside Independent Church with Rev. Timmy Hunt officiating.

Burial will follow at Northside Independent Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 20, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at Northside Independent Church in Lumberton.

Mr. Ransom was born May 4, 1965 in Oakland, CA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Lockley Ransom; and a sister, Mitsue Kling.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Hunt Ransom of the home; two sons, David O'Neil Ransom and wife Justina of Fairmont, and Marcus O'Brian of the home; his father, Franklin Ransom of Fairmont; three brothers, Paul Ransom of Fairmont, Danny and Tony Ransom, both of Bladenboro; one sister, Debbie Grimsley of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Lillyonna, Brylyn, and Scarlett Ransom; and a host of other relatives and friends.
