David Lockley, age 48, of Fairmont, NC passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, NC.

David was born October 15, 1975 in Robeson County. He was employed by Lewis & Brady Builders in Fairmont, NC for thirty years.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Floudia Oxendine and his paternal grandparents, Layton and Donna Bell Hunt Lockley.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Evans Lockley of the home; his parents, Michael Lockley and Brenda Oxendine Lockley of Fairmont, NC; two sons, E J (Eddie) Johnson of Fairmont, NC and Chris Lockley (Leanna) of Fairmont, NC; three daughters, Tiffany Lewis (Sean) of Fairmont, NC, Courtney Lockley and Mekaylah Locklear (Kelton) all of Fairmont, NC; three brothers, Jamie Lockley (Veronica). Michael Lockley, Jr. and Dale Lockley all of Fairmont, NC; one sister, Belinda Lockley of Fairmont, NC; six grandchildren, Sadie Epps, Kaidyn Lewis, Tynslei Lewis, Emberle Lewis, Teagan Lockley and Kailani Scott; his second family, Lewis & Brady Employees, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 1, 2024 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, Fairmont, NC.

Burial will follow in the Evans/Ashpole Family Cemetery, 6347 NC Hwy. 904, Fairmont, NC.
