David Lester "Batman" Singletary, 58, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023. He was born in Robeson County to the late Richard Clint Singletary and the late Racheal Sessoms Singletary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Clint Singletary and Racheal Sessoms Singletary.

He is survived by his siblings, Betty Jean Bullard (Jim) of Lumberton, NC, Richard Earl Singletary (Rita) of Lumberton, NC, Donnie Ray Singletary of Texas, Thurman Junior "Furnie" Singletary (Karen) of Texas, Thomas Mitchell Singletary (Karen) of Maxton, NC, Barbara Lynn (Peanut) of Kinston, NC, and Debbie Britt (Jeff) of Rowland, NC; his special friends, Jim Rozier, Ronald Rozier, Darryl Moody, Nolan Rozier, and Darryl Rozier; a special nephew, Justin Clint Singletary and his daughter, Madi, both of Lumberton; a special niece, Jessie Singletary of Maxton, NC; and his aunt, Estelle Singletary of Lumberton.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc., at 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Rozier Family Cemetery at 1839 Turnpike Road, Lumberton, NC.
