Mr. David Earl Dial, age 93, of Pembroke passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 3:00pm at Fair Point Free Will Baptist Church with Revs. Charles Cummings and Dwight Deal officiating.

Burial will follow in Fair Point Church cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Mr. Dial was born March 15, 1924 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Dial; his wife Katie Hunt Dial; two daughters, Brenda Joyce Locklear and Laura Mae Ledwell, a sister, Bessie Walters.

He is survived by three sons; David Earl "Buddy" Dial, Jr., of Lumberton, Michael Anthony Dial (Sylvia) of Fairmont and Steve Allen Dial of Lumberton, four daughters; Vina Lee Dial and Connie Lynn Dial both of Lumberton, Diana Lynn Dial of Fairmont and Linda Gail Dial (Billy Ray Jacobs) of Pembroke, a brother-in-law, Velton Hunt, his grandchildren; Jasmine and Michael Dial, Christy Lee Cintron, April Janelle Hunt, Michael Lynn Rogers, Michelle Lane Rogers, Cory Rogers, Nichole Lynn Dial, Rachel Lynn Dial, Matthew Kelly Hunt, Katie Marie Hunt, Joyce Ann Locklear, Linda Darnell Locklear, Willie Locklear, Jason and Jackie Locklear, Sharon Lee Welch, Kim Welch and Herbert Ronald Welch, Jr.
