David Neil Bass, age 45, of Fairmont passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

He was born March 22, 1977 in Robeson County.

David is survived by a daughter, Katelynn Bass Fields and husband Chris Fields of the home; a son, Jason O'Neil Bass of Fairmont, NC; his father, Jimmy Lynn Bass of Fairmont, NC; his mother, Diane McLellan Bass of Fairmont, NC; a brother, Paul Bass and wife Hollie of Lumberton, NC; a sister, Jenny Bass McGee and husband Bobby of Fairmont, NC; one grandson, Kayden O'Neil Bass, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, NC. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation in Floyd Memorial Cemetery at 2:00PM.
